Super Special Dog on TV!

Monday night. August 20th, 2007 at 2:00 AM EST. Mark it on your calendars, folks. Actually, don't stop at calendars...go ahead and tattoo it on your hands, carve it on the hood of your car, and spray paint it on your mailman. You simply don't want to forget when Super Special Dog makes his glorious TV debut on Comedy Central!

Who the hell is Super Special Dog, you ask? Well, he used to go by Super Retarded Dog a few years ago, but he had his name legally changed after he was informed that his name was offensive to retards. Oops.

I'm happy to say that I've finally finished production on all 6 episodes after several months of writing, animating, directing, and not sleeping. Looking back on it all, it was definitely the most fun I've ever had working on anything. I actually got a chance to work with some real actors this time, including Mark Christopher Lawrence from Fear Of A Black Hat, one of my all-time favorite movies.

After the "Web Shows" TV debut, the 6 brand new episodes of Super Special Dog will be premiering once a week on ComedyCentral.com, starting August 27th. In the meantime, you can download some Super Special Dog wallpapers for your cellphone.

Awesome work dude!!. If it’s of any interest of you, did you know that if you import a .gif animation in a Flash movie it automatically adds all the key frames so you can play it right there?

This show is offensive to everyone with strong morals and values. It makes the premium I pay for unlimited internet on my phone worth every penny! Keep up the good work!

The first episode launches on ComedyCentral.com on Monday August 27th. It sheds some light on the origins of SSD’s greatest arch nemesis, the evil magician seen in the original cartoon. And he finally gets a name, but I won’t spoil that just yet.

I remember watching “Super Retarded Dog” a few years ago when it debuted on Newgrounds and I thought to myself “Wow…this is really well animated.” I actually study animation and my friends really enjoyed what I showed them on the website. Who would thought that one of my favorite flash clips would become such a success? Congrats on your success. I can’t wait to see more!
