Weird Al + SuperNews! = RINGTONE

I'm a little late in posting this, but I haven't updated this site in forever, so give me a break. Anyway, here's the brand-new video for Weird Al Yankovic's brand-new song "Ringtone" that we animated over at the SuperNews! cartoon laboratory. By they way, I work for SuperNews! now. The second season premieres this fall...Fridays @10/9c. Oh, and I got engaged. And I'm thinking about switching to Vonage. Is there anything else you wanna know?

Super Special Dog on iTunes!

Have you heard the news? For the low, low price of $1.99 you can now own a copy of a show you've either seen a million times, or have no interest in whatsoever. A steal at any price!

In case you've been wondering what the hell I've been doing lately (besides rolling around in my sprinklings of iTunes change), I've been working on a brand new show. I can't tell you anything about it yet, but I will offer you this remarkably small preview.

Tandem Fork!

Just in time for next Valentine's Day, here comes the Tandem Fork! It's my revolutionary new invention for cutesy bullshit couples who love to do everything together, every single minute of every single day!

Do you enjoy blissful strolls around the park on your two-seater bike? Do you own a pair of Smittens? Do you worry that your significant other might have disconcerting thoughts about your relationship if they spend more than a millisecond away from you? If so, then the Tandem Fork is the only cutlery you should ever consider using, you batshit loony!

Order in the next 20 seconds, and I'll throw in a 12-piece set of Tandem Spoons, a Tandem Spatula, and 3 Tandem Plates at no extra cost. That's right, Tandem Plates! They're two plates stuck together. Holy shit!

Click here to order your Tandem Fork today!

Even More Super Retarded Madness

Here's yet another Super Retarded Dog re-enactment. This is the fourth one I've seen, and I'm really at a loss now. Don't get me wrong--I'm flattered and all, but can somebody explain what's going on here? Is this the "hip" new thing for "kids" to do "now"? I'm 26, so I guess I'm just too old to understand. In my day, we were too busy shoveling coal to even think about re-enacting things we saw on the internet. We ate rocks and snow, and if we ever even thought about filming ourselves acting out a scene from a cartoon, our dads would've kicked us in the teeth with a steel-toe boot...and we would've been grateful!

I guess it's a different world now. There's no place for old curmudgeons like me. I'll just grab my cane and putter around the house until it's time to do synchronized Hoveround formations with my old coal-shoveling buddies.

More Super Retarded Madness

Looks like there's another group of kids out there doing their own live-action versions of Super Retarded Dog. This is the third one I've seen in the last year, and it's definitely one of the best. Certainly in the top 3. They lose a couple of points for not actually filling the bucket with real gas and blowing up their house, but it's a solid effort nonetheless. Click here to watch it!

Atom Films Top 10

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Atom Films picked the first episode of The Steven Seagal Show as one of their Top 10 Flash Cartoons of All Time! This was the first cartoon I ever made, way back in 2000. My memory is kind of foggy now, but I'm pretty sure I actually made this at work while I was pretending to do my job. I miss those good old days sometimes. Anyway, it's an honor to be mentioned among such greats as Bitey of Brackenwood and Bendito Machine. And congratulations to Animator Vs. Animation for nabbing the top spot.
